At PIAIP, student learning is competence-based rather than course-work focused. Student moves at their own pace demonstration competencies in areas essential to their chosen fields |

The Pre Internship Program |

This Program caters to the age group of 12 to 16. This is for those students who may have hit a plateau where academics is concerned and the most likely option for them is going to be a vocational training program in lieu of an academically oriented career.
The Pre Internship program is or those students who will ultimately be moving on to Pallavanjali’s flagship internship Program –PIAIP- Pallavanjali Institute for the Actualization Of Individual Potential, which is now running successfully into its third year. This program sees the students train outside the institute with the leaders in the industry. This program however has a lower age limit of 16 yrs. |

Every student in the program has an IEP that caters to his/her need and requirement.
Therapies (where needed) are incorporated into the time table.

The timings for the program is 8.30 AM to 2 PM , Monday to Friday. |

The Internship Program |

This program is Pallavanjali's flagship program that sees the students train outside the institute with the leaders in the industry. This is a unique apporch to non sheltered, hands on training at actual work place. |

Entry into this program is a coveted opportunity even for top graduates of the country’s finest schools of hotel management |

Another one of our partners is Genesis Colors- The Satya Paul brand of fabric – leaders in the field of fashion. The interns from PAIAP are working in their graphic design department and are learning computer aided designing of fabrics, They are also learning computer aided designing of fabrics, They are also learning the fundamentals of textile and fashion designing. |

The Outcome |

Through their association with these leading companies and by making day to day use of the skills we teach them in the classroom, PAIAP student swill gain a sense of what excellence is and a desire to achieve excellence no matter what they do. They will be far more motivated to achieve this then they would sitting in a classroom. They would now have the opportunity to pursue a career in an industry which they understand and have experienced.
